Sikorsky snags $21.8M deal for CH-53K flight training device

Sikorsky Aircraft was awarded a $21.8 million contract modification by the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.

Under the terms of the contract, the Stratford-headquartered company will procure one containerized flight training device for CH-53K helicopters. It will also deliver associated technical data based on low-rate initial production that will be used to support CH-53K Phase II pilot training system efforts.

The project is expected to be completed by September 2025, with most of the work being handled at Sikorsky”™s facility in Chantilly, Virginia.
