Danbury hangar damage could be $25M

Fire engulfed a Danbury Municipal Airport hangar operated by Reliant Air, with early damage estimates pegged at $25 million.

At press deadline, officials had yet to cite a cause for the fire the night of Sept. 12, which destroyed as many as nine planes and a restaurant in the building, McNally”™s Steak and Ale House.

Reliant Air operates a $275 summer shuttle service to and from Massachusetts”™ Nantucket Island, also chartering aircraft on an hourly basis.
