Aircastle expands at Stamford Place

Aircastle Ltd. is expanding its Stamford offices by nearly one third to 19,000 square feet.

The company leases jet aircraft to airlines, with customers including British Airways and Southwest Airlines.

Over the first six months of 2007, Aircastle had a $60 million profit on $155 million in revenue.

At last report, Aircastle owned or had commitments to purchase aircraft valued at $5.5 billion. In early September, the company reached a deal to buy four Boeing 747 jets from Shanghai Airlines.
