Designed as a one-stop health care destination, the new facility at 1200 Route 300 was modeled after The Everett Clinic”™s Smokey Point facility in the state of Washington, Crystal Run executives said when announcing the July 20 opening.

“It was important to us to give the Newburgh community a truly exceptional facility, with a broad range of specialties and services,” said Dr. Hal Teitelbaum, managing partner and CEO of Crystal Run. “But this facility was also designed to transform the patient experience and serve as the model for all new Crystal Run facilities going forward.”

The Newburgh center houses more than 20 medical and surgical specialties, from primary care and urgent care to cardiology and neurology, and gives patients access to more than 40 medical specialties practiced by Crystal Run physicians. It includes an endoscopy suite, infusion center and full diagnostic testing, including state-of-the art imaging.

Crystal Run officers said kiosks, rapid check-in and improved utilization of exam room space reduce wait time for patients at the new facility, and they are discharged directly from the exam room with no additional check-out procedure. A Crystal Run spokesperson said the facility”™s design fosters better engagement between patients and their providers and facilitates collaboration among providers to support the best care as well as the best patient experience.
