‘Cement Heads’ TV series focuses on Eastchester business


An Eastchester family”™s construction company is at the center of a reality cable TV series called “Cement Heads” that premiered on A&E Network on Tuesday night.

Eastchester-based WJL Equities and its employees are the stars of the new series, which is co-produced by The Weinstein Company-owned Dimension TV. According to an A&E Network press release, the employees “can”™t quite get the hang of being in front of the camera.”

“’Does somebody want to say action?”™ confused company owner Billy Lougheed asks the production crew of the first day of filming,” the release said.

The series focuses on Lougheed, his wife and business partner, Danielle, and Joe “Chubby” Luciano, Lougheed”™s best friend. Lougheed”™s parents will also feature prominently in the series.
