Burke opens new outpatient facility in West Nyack

Burke Rehabilitation, long recognized for its hospital and campus in White Plains, has opened its first site in Rockland County. The 6,800-square-foot outpatient facility at 3 Centerock Road in West Nyack offers a wide range of service including: sports medicine and rehabilitation; concussion management; vestibular therapy; orthopedic medicine and rehabilitation; occupational therapy; hand and upper extremity care.

“We are excited to serve the community of Rockland County residents,” said Scott Edelman, Burke’s executive director. “Our skilled care teams at our West Nyack facility uphold Burke’s steadfast commitment to ensuring every patient has the best possible recovery journey and most successful outcome, in a setting that is conducive to health and healing.”

The new facility features LED lighting and a floor plan that utilizes natural daylight to reduce energy consumption, as well as water and energy efficiency features. Sustainable and low volatile organic compound materials were selected for finishes and furniture.

Burke is the largest provider of stroke rehabilitation in New York. In addition to its hospital in White Plains, Burke has 13 outpatient locations in Westchester, the Bronx and the Hudson Valley. Burke is a member of the Montefiore Health System.
