914Cares opens new warehouse in Armonk

The Westchester nonprofit 914Cares that serves residents living at or below the poverty line with clothing, footwear, personal care products, diapers and baby gear, books, and more marked the opening of a new warehouse in Armonk with a ribbon-cutting event. The organization had been operating from North White Plains. The new location is at 28 Kaysal Court and provides 12,000 square feet for the organization to store supplies and prepare the items for distribution.

914Cares has strategic partnerships with 117 organizations across the county. Among the locations where it distributes items are domestic violence shelters, transitional housing centers, medical centers and school districts.

The new Armonk location is twice as large as the combined warehouse and office space that the organization had been using in North White Plains.

“This amazing space will allow 914Cares to exponentially increase the number of recipients in each of our programs providing dignity and a sense of security to our most vulnerable neighbors,” said Jessica Reinmann, who is the organization’s founder and CEO.

Among those attending the ribbon-cutting were Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins, NYS Assemblymember Chris Burdick, and North Castle Town Supervisor Joseph Rende.
