Connecticut records $14.3M in recreational cannabis sales in September

Connecticut recorded more than $14.3 million in recreational cannabis sales during September, a new monthly peak, according to data released by the state’s Department of Consumer Protection. This represented a nearly $400,000 increase from August.

Medical marijuana sales in Connecticut during September totaled $10.8 million, a slight decline from the $10.9 million recorded in August. Last month, adult-use consumers purchased 376,035 products at an average price of $38.37. Year-to-date, adult-use cannabis sales (which became legal on Jan. 10) exceeded $97 million through nine months.

Medical marijuana sales were $10.8 million in September, down slightly from the $10.9 million level recorded in August. Medical patients purchased 284,116 products at an average cost of $38.21 last month.
