Connecticut generated $24M in cannabis sales during June

The combined sales for adult-use cannabis and medical marijuana in Connecticut totaled nearly $24 million during June, according to data from the state”™s Department of Consumer Protection.

The adult-use market recorded $12.5 million in sales last month and the medical marijuana market recorded $11.3 million in sales for the same period.

In June, medical marijuana patients purchased 303,293 products, and adult-use consumers purchased 313,510 products. The average product price for medical marijuana patients was $37.43 in June, while the average price of adult-use products was $40.00.

In the first six months of sales, 53% of sales were usable cannabis, or flower, while vapes made up 25% of sales and edible products accounted for 10%.
