Circle K gas stations in Florida will soon have cannabis dispensaries

Florida residents will soon be able to buy marijuana products at Circle K gas stations in the Sunshine State.

According to a CBS News report, Circle K”™s parent company, Alimentation Couche-Tard, has entered into a partnership with Green Thumb Industries, one of nation”™s largest U.S. cannabis producers, to open 10 “RISE Express” dispensaries at the Circle K gas stations beginning in 2023. The dispensaries will have separate entrances from the gas stations and sell cannabis products including marijuana flower, pre-rolls, gummies and vapes.

Marijuana is legal in Florida for medical use only and nearly 560,000 state residents have a medical marijuana card. Marijuana is still illegal at a federal level, although it is allowed for medical use in 37 states and for adult recreational use in 19 others.
