Yelp declares Dilly Duck Shop best sandwich shop in state

Yelp has released a list of the best places for sandwiches in every state, and named the Dilly Duck Shop on Main Avenue in Norwalk’s Town Line Shopping Center as the best in Connecticut.

“Known for its rotisserie-style beef and pork—roasted in-house then stuffed into juicy, tender sandwiches—this charming shop ranked on Yelp’s 2022 list of the Top Places to Eat in Connecticut. Regulars swear by the roast beef sandwich, featuring thin-sliced beef paired with cheddar and long-cooked onions,” wrote the list’s author, journalist Luis Rendon of the popular spot near the border of Norwalk and Wilton.

The rankings were composed by compiling a list of restaurants in each state with reviews that frequently mention sandwiches. Then, the top ranked choice in each state was declared the winner.

With five stars across 286 reviews Dilly Duck had an impressive record by the metrics.
