Shannon O’Toole-Giandurco takes lead at Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce
The current president of the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce Brian Griffen is stepping down from the role, with his resignation effective August 1. The chamber announced on July 10 that his role will be assumed by Shannon O’Toole-Giandurco.
O’Toole-Giandurco is the current Director of Membership for the Chamber, and has previously worked for major Norwalk employers including Norwalk Hospital and Stew Leonard’s.
“I am deeply honored to have been selected as the Chamber’s next President and CEO,” said O’Toole-Giandurco. “I started my career and community involvement in Norwalk many years ago, and to now be leading the Chamber is a realization beyond my wildest dreams. As a proud Norwalk native, my family and I cherish our community deeply. I am particularly proud to be the first female to hold this role, and I am eager to contribute to the Chamber’s growth and success in the future.”
Outgoing president Griffen said “Shannon will bring a new perspective to the organization, complemented by her deep local connections and strong understanding of the Norwalk community. I look forward to seeing the Chamber thrive under her leadership.”
