Norwalk VR tech company to partner with Global Esports Federation

Infinite Realty, a tech innovation firm based in Norwalk, announced a strategic partnership on July 25 with the Global Esports Federation (GEF) out of Singapore.

Infinite Reality’s technology suite will enable the use of artificial intelligence (AI), spatial computing, and extended reality to bolster the GEF’s ecommerce presence. The signed five year agreement positions Infinite Reality as the GEF’s global partner for immersive experiences.

The ambition is to create multilingual versions of live events accessible through smart devices, allowing fans of competitive gaming events to cross language barriers during global events.

“This partnership comes at a time when innovative technologies are rapidly transforming how sports fans, especially younger generations, engage and transact with their favorite teams and athletes. As the world turns its attention to Paris and the Olympic games, most of us, who cannot be there in person, will look to virtual experiences to bring us closer to the action,” said John Acunto, co-founder and CEO of Infinite Reality. “Together, Infinite Reality and the Global Esports Federation can play a vital role in pushing the limits of what is expected and redefine what it means to be a fan.”
