Bridgeport warehouse sells for $1.6 million

Henry Bresky & Sons, a food distribution company based in Bridgeport was founded in 1885 and was dissolved as a corporate entity In January of 2023, marking the end of almost 140 years in business. The building itself is 68 years old.

Now the distinctive red and brick warehouse at 1859 Commerce Drive has been sold by Tehodore & Eleanor Bresky through commercial real estate brokerage firm Angel Commercial, LLC.

The property was acquired by Yury Berson.

Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial was the sole broker in the transaction and said it was an honor to preserve the legacy of the family business in a press release, and that the purchase marks a new chapter in the continued history of Bridgeport’s entrepreneurial spirit.

“I appreciate Jon’s perseverance in locating qualified buyers and working with us throughout the process,” said Ted Bresky in a prepared statement. “It has made this bittersweet closing of a long-time family-owned business a good experience.”
