Mooney appointed to Greater Hudson Bank board

William M. Mooney Jr.

William M. Mooney Jr. has been appointed to the board of directors at the Greater Hudson Bank.

Mooney, who is the CEO of the Westchester County Association, has worked for several banks in the past, including Independence Community Bank, Union State Bank, CMS Bank and Chemical Bank. He also was the president and CEO of Hudson Valley Bank.

Other boards that Mooney has served on have been philanthropic, including those of United Way of Westchester and Putnam, Rockland Center for the Arts and American Heart Walk.

Mooney earned the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2004, which recognizes American citizens dedicated to community service. The award is sponsored by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations.

Greater Hudson Bank has served the Hudson Valley region since 2002 and is headquartered in Bardonia.
