First Aviation leaves Nasdaq
First Aviation Services Inc. plans to delist its stock from the Nasdaq National Market on July 26.
The company maintains a small headquarters office in Westport; its principal operating subsidiary Aerospace Products International Inc. is based in Memphis, Tenn., and it has a large distribution warehouse in Southaven, Miss.
The company cited increased costs from complying with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. It plans to continue trading its shares on secondary securities markets.
First Aviation sells components to aircraft manufacturers and operators, generating a $14 million loss last year on $119 million in revenue.
