Silvermine Arts Center launches Fulbright residency program

New Canaan”™s Silvermine Arts Center has established a Fulbright residency program, with Montenegro-based sculptor Ivana Radovanovich as its first artist in residence.

The Silvermine Fulbright residency will run for two weeks in January and June and will be managed by the International Institute of Education (IIE). Current foreign Fulbright grantees and Fulbright Visiting Scholars will be eligible to participate in the program, which will include having a Silvermine faculty member serving as their mentor. Artist Janet Hennessey Dilenschneider and her husband, business executive Robert Dilenschneider, initiated and funded the residency program.
