Ordinak to leave arts post
The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield announced Ryan Odinak will not continue as executive director of the organization.
Odinak has led the nonprofit alliance since 2008 when it was founded. Her tenure will end in six months, after which she plans to pursue her personal endeavors and continue her career in arts and cultural management as an independent consultant. She will continue to lead the organization and maintain its services while the board undertakes a search.
“I have been privileged to work with a terrific staff, board of directors and alliance members who have all helped build an organization that I am extremely proud of today,” Odinak said. “The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County has a great reputation for serving the arts and culture sector and bringing cultural leadership to the region and the state. I am confident it will remain a strong and growing presence into the future.”
The alliance produces FCBuzz, a weekly feature in the Fairfield County Business Journal.
President of the board Elisabeth Morten said, “The board of directors joins me in thanking Ryan for her dedication and all she has done to build the Cultural Alliance. She is widely respected as a leader who goes the extra mile to serve the arts and cultural sector. We are grateful for the time she spent developing the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County and are sad to see her go, but look forward to bringing new leadership that will continue to grow the organization.”
