CrimeConn: Mystery conference at the Westport Library

The second annual CrimeConn Mystery Conference, co-sponsored by the Westport Library and Mystery Writers of America New York Chapter, is a daylong gathering for Connecticut mystery book fans and writers featuring entertaining and informative panels with authors, forensic and crime experts and publishing professionals.

Westport_LibraryThe schedule includes topics such as: “Google vs. Old Fashioned Shoe Leather,” “How Do You Keep Mysteries Exciting in the Digital Age,” “Insights from an Expert: Cold Case Investigations,” “History and the Use of New Technology,” “Death Investigation: It”™s Not Exactly What You See on TV,” featuring Michelle Clark, death investigator for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Connecticut, and “Research, Imagination and Life Experience: How do you find your greatest inspirations?”

This year”™s CrimeConn is Sunday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the library”™s McManus Room. Books by attending authors will be available for sale and signing.
