Bruce Museum seeks applicants for Artist-in-Residency program

The Bruce Museum in Greenwich is accepting applications for its inaugural Artist-in-Residency program.

The program will host one Artist-in-Residence from Nov. 1 through July 31, 2024, and the chosen applicant must work on-site at the Bruce Museum for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Eligible artists for consideration include visual artists, sculptors, poets, writers, musicians, and movement practitioners.

The residency also includes a $35,000 stipend to generate new work for display within the museum”™s Steven and Alexandra Cohen Education Wing, reimbursement for the cost of materials up to $8,000 and a $500 honorarium to present one lecture at the museum. This program is supported by the Art Bridges Foundation.

The application form is online and the deadline is Oct. 7 at 11:59 p.m.
