DESCRIPTION: Greenwich Hospital is bringing back its popular Community Wellness Series this fall, offering free, in-person events designed to help community members learn about common health conditions and the latest treatment options from leading physicians. The fall lineup features three sessions, each focused on a different specialty area, held in the Noble Conference Room inside Greenwich Hospital at 5 Perryridge Road. Upcoming Events Minimally Invasive Bunion Surgery: Treatment Options for Lasting Relief Wednesday, October 22 | 5:30 – 7 pm Learn what causes bunions and explore both non-surgical and minimally invasive surgical options to relieve pain and improve mobility. Presenter: Sean Peden, MD, orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon We’ve Got Your Back: Treating Chronic Back and Neck Pain Tuesday, November 4 | 5:30 – 7 pm Understand the causes of chronic back and neck pain, discover advanced treatment options and learn strategies to prevent future discomfort. Presenter: John Strugar, MD, neurosurgeon Understanding Enlarged Prostate: Symptoms, Treatments and Relief: Tuesday, November 11 | 5:30 – 7 pm Learn about the causes and symptoms of enlarged prostate (BPH), including frequent or difficult urination, and explore the latest treatments to restore comfort and quality of life. Presenter: Christopher Bednarz, MD, urologist “These Wellness Wednesday events are a wonderful opportunity for community members to connect directly with Greenwich Hospital physicians, ask questions and learn about effective options for improving their health,” said Bob Blenderman, PA, president, Greenwich Hospital. “We’re proud to continue this tradition of bringing accessible, expert-led education to our community.” The Community Wellness Series is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
