DESCRIPTION: JTC Experiences, a 501© 3 nonprofit organization based in Briarcliff will host a screening of the award-winning film, How to Sue the Klan The film tells the story of how five Black women from Chattanooga used legal ingenuity to take on the Ku Klux Klan in a historic 1982 civil case, fighting to hold them accountable for their crimes and bring justice to their community. Their victory set a legal precedent that continues to inspire the ongoing fight against organized hate. The film also serves as a compelling exploration of the intersection of law, civil rights, and the ongoing struggle against racism and hate in America. It highlights the resilience of those who fight against oppression and the critical role that legal action can play in advancing civil rights.
