The Black Dirt Bourbon Barn, a subsidiary of Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, opened over Memorial Day weekend as the first standalone bar at Woodbury Common.
The bar serves cocktails, beer, cider and wine and features a seasonal list of both classic cocktails and drinks invented by Black Dirt Distillery in Warwick. It also serves snacks such as charcuterie, cheeses and hummus.
Any cocktail at the Black Dirt Bourbon Barn is available for purchase as a kit to take and make at home. Tastings are also offered for spirits, wine, beer and cider sold there in bottles or cans. In addition to beverages produced by its parent company, Warwick Valley Winery, owners said the mall taproom carries spirits from as many as six other New York producers.
Occupying an approximately 12-foot by 18-foot space in the Hudson Valley section of Woodbury Common, Black Dirt Bourbon Barn is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. An outdoor patio seats 36 people.
