The University of Bridgeport will host the American Society for Engineering Education Zone 1 Conference April 3-5.
It will showcase research by more than 1,000 industry experts, faculty and students. Panel topics will cover biomedical nanotechnology to automated technologies (and much in between) with workshops and tutorials.
Dr. Atam Dhawan, from New Jersey Institute of Technology, will deliver the keynote speech, “Biotechnology & Bioengineering,” 10:15 a.m. April 4.
Other expert speakers will include:
· Dr. Damir Novosel, Quanta-Technology L.L.C., on “Energy and Sustainability”;
· Dr. Katsushi Ikeuchi, the University of Tokyo, on “Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics”; and
· Dr. David McLaughlin, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, on “Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere.”
Research will feature developments in engineering design, performance and optimization, nanotechnology, chemical engineering, environmental engineering and energy, civil engineering, biotechnology, bioengineering software engineering, computing, technology management, robotics, mechatronics, modeling, simulation, mechanical design, new materials, electrical engineering and electronics and aerospace engineering.
Awards will be presented for professional papers, outstanding teaching, and student posters and papers.
