The shutdown may be over but its effects are still lingering.
Connecticut’s Department of Labor announced Oct. 16 Â that its regularly scheduled labor reports would be significantly delayed, including September’s unemployment numbers and November’s Economic Digest.
Labor force employment and wage estimates are produced in partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, which was shut down along with several other resources during the 15 day governmentblackout.
Connecticut DOL officials say they are unsure when the new reports will be released.
