The seventh annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week kicks off March 11 and will run through March 24. The 14-day event will feature the region’s most celebrated eateries with a focus on farm-to-table foods, sustainable products and local buying.
More than 170 restaurants across seven counties are participating in this year’s event. Participating venues include Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua, X2O Xaviars on the Hudson in Yonkers, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Tarrytown, and the famed Bedford Post Inn.
Twelve restaurants are participating for the first time this year, including La Crémaillère in Bedford, Gigi Trattoria in Rhinebeck and MP Taverna in Irvington. Local vineyards and farms like Millbrook Vineyards and Sprout Creek Farm in Dutchess County, whose cheeses can be found in dishes at restaurants such as Babycakes Café in Poughkeepsie and Terrapin in Rhinebeck, are also participating.
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week offers three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95 (plus beverage, tax and tip). Restaurant patrons are being encouraged to explore the variety of international eateries within the Hudson Valley
including Argentinian, French, German, Mediterranean, Mexican, and Swiss cuisine.
