New City”™s Kahn, Hoffman and Hochman CPAs, has merged its services with Manhattan”™s Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Co. L.L.P. (RSSM), CPAs and profitability consultants.
As of Jan. 1, the Hudson Valley-based firm is known as Kahn, Hoffman & Hochman L.L.C., a division of RSSM L.L.P.
The merger adds an additional 40 accountants to RSSM, including four partners, and increases RSSM”™s total staff to nearly 250. The firm will continue to service KH&H clients from its existing offices in New City and White Plains, with Michael Hochman acting as partner-in-charge of the New City office.
Founded in 1974 by the late Gary Kahn, KH&H enjoyed substantial growth while emerging in Rockland”™s business community. With this merger, RSSM is now ranked as the largest accounting firm in Rockland, with nearly 2,000 business and individual clients
