The owners of the Holiday Inn Downtown Stamford completed a $20 million renovation.
Davidson Hotel Co. and RockBridge Capital L.L.C. own the hotel, which, with 380 rooms, is the third largest in Stamford. The Holiday Inn Downtown Stamford is affiliated with InterContinental Hotels Group P.L.C., the largest hotel operator in the world by room count according to MKG Hospitality.
Columbus, Ohio-based RockBridge Capital lists the hotel”™s capitalization at $42 million; the fund also owns the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
Davidson Hotel is based in Memphis, Tenn. The company owns only one other hotel in the Northeast: the Hyatt Regency Newport in Rhode Island.
