Hoping to propel more Latinos up the career ladder and into leadership positions, Westchester County government has partnered with Consolidated Edison of New York Inc. to offer a series of free informational forums this spring. Â
The first program held recently was geared to Latino women looking for a career change or wanting more responsibility in their current job. Upcoming workshop subjects will be workplace development, in April; exploring cultural and language differences to achieve upper mobility, in May, and moving up within the confines of board membership, in June. Details will be announced later.
The programs are at ConEdison”™s office at 511 Theodore Fremd Ave. in Rye. For more information or to register, call 914-995-2476.
