Greenwich’s Prostar Capital expands executive team

Prostar Capital, a Greenwich-based private investment firm focused on midstream energy infrastructure assets, has hired Garrett Sussman as head of portfolio management and Brooke Callaghan as head of investor relations.

Sussman was previously manager of economic and valuation services at KPMG, while Callaghan was an investor services associate at Apollo Management Holdings LP. The new hires bring to four the total number of new hires by Prostar during this year – Marcus Lorentz, former director of project finance at Natixis, joined the company in March as a principal while Robert Dowling was hired in January as an analyst after previously holding similar positions at Pacific Road Capital and Deloitte.

The new hires follow Prostar’s acquisition in May of an oil storage terminal facility on St. Eustatius in the Caribbean from NuStar Energy LP, in May 2019. To date, the firm has deployed approximately $500 million from its current fund program.
