A new cafe called Fork in The Road Market is seeking to open in Ridgefield.
The new business plans to move into the 3 Danbury Road space occupied by the Cucumber and Chamomile tea shop until it shut down in September. The Ridgefield Press reports the town’s health department needs to grant approval before the cafe can set up shop, while the town’s Architectural Advisory Committee has already granted approval for a freestanding sign that would highlight its presence.
Details on what Fork in the Road Market will offer are, at the moment, a bit scant. The business’ Facebook page only describes the upcoming endeavor as “Cafe + Local Marketplace. A cozy cottage experience.” The owners of Fork in the Road Market also own Kafo, a cafe and bakery on Ridgefield’s Main Street.
