Baldanza Restaurants is scheduled to open a new eatery in Darien while moving its New Canaan establishment to a new location within the town.

Baldanza Bistro in Darien will greet the public for the first time on Friday, Aug. 31, at 1020 Post Road. The new location covers approximately 2,000 square feet and is located behind Ten Twenty Post, an oyster bar and bistro.

In New Canaan, Baldanza is moving up the street from 17 Elm St. to 129 Elm St., taking over the space occupied by One29 Restaurant, which opened in March but abruptly closed on Aug. 26.
