Westport resident James Krouse has been named a partner at BlumShapiro, a regional business advisory firm with offices in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Krouse, who is a CPA, is at the BlumShapiro tax department in Shelton.
He joined the firm in 2017 from Grant Thornton, where he served as tax director. Krouse is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Golden Gate University.
