The Texas Roadhouse restaurant chain plans to open its newest Connecticut outpost in Danbury in June.

The restaurant’s future location at 74 Newtown Road was formerly the site of an Action Motors car dealership. Last April, Summit Development LLC in Southport announced it would redevelop the site with construction of a three-building, 18,000-square-foot office and retail complex in a joint venture with The Grossman Cos., of Quincy, Massachusetts.

Other tenants include the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen restaurant and Aspen Dental, T-Mobile and Doctor’s Express franchises.

The restaurant will be the third Texas Roadhouse location in Connecticut. Others are in Waterbury and West Haven.
