Harry Connick, Jr. will perform at a benefit for The Inner-City Foundation for Charity & Education on Nov. 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich. The annual benefit, marking the Bridgeport-based organization’s 25th anniversary, provides funding for programs serving the neediest residents of Fairfield County.

Television weatherman Dave Price of WNBC in New York City will emcee.

The Inner-City Foundation said it expects that Connick’s appearance will help it reach its goal of raising $2.5 million this year — more than twice what it typically raises in a year. Founded in 1992, The Inner-City Foundation supports organizations providing food, clothing, shelter, education and counseling to at-risk and needy children and adults of Fairfield County.
