A pair of Mamaroneck-based Murphy Brothers Contracting projects was selected by industry peers to receive 2015 HOBI Awards in two categories, “Best Out of State Custom Home” and “Best Kitchen Remodel over $200K.”

Murphy Brothers principals Chris and Sean Murphy live in Fairfield County.

In a prepared statement, the company said the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Connecticut HOBI Awards are the most prestigious awards presented in Connecticut in design, construction, sales-and-marketing and home financing categories by members of the statewide organization.

The HOBI Awards were presented at the annual HBRA-CT HOBI Awards banquet held at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington, attended by more than 700 industry professionals and affiliates.
