Stamford-based Gartner Inc., an information technology research and advisory company, announced it has acquired Nubera, a private Barcelona, Spain-based company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Nubera is an application discovery network whose flagship website, GetApp, allows organizations to compare and choose software based on product reviews. Its other services, GetApp Lab, appstorm, AppAppeal and CloudWork, are for different-sized businesses and different types of software.

In its press release, Gartner said Nubera’s services complement Gartner’s software advice business and will help clients make the right technology-related decisions.
